Two Hours in Adelaide – Photography

In 2015 I spoke at the Place Leaders Association Asia Pacific Conference in Adelaide, South Australia. During the time there I also worked with towns across Fleuriue Peninsular & in the Barossa Valley. But I did get a bit of time out to explore!

I was in Adelaide during ANZAC Day, the day which Australia & New Zealand remember their war dead. I decided to take a two hour window and document what I saw during that period in the city centre. These pictures were the result. It was very moving to see the servicemen & women past & present with all their medals, and also the widows who are allowed to wear their fallen partner’s medals too.

It was also interesting to see how normal life carried on alongside it all. Australia takes ANZAC Day very seriously, but life still does go on.
